What is a CAS?
CAS stands for Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies. The CAS is a unique reference number that certifies that the University has agreed to be your Tier 4 Sponsor (which is not the same as financial sponsorship) and that you have accepted our unconditional offer of a seat to study in a particular university.
What is a BRP?
Biometric Residence Permit is a term that refers to a residency permit that is based on biometric data. A BRP is required for all non-EEA nationals visiting the UK for more than six months. The BRP is the document that grants you permission to stay in the country. You’ll have 10 days to pick up your BRP from the address you provided on your visa application form. This is usually at a UK address.
How much money will I need to show for a successful student visa application?
